When creating a grant proposal, you are invited to use the following questions as guidelines to ensure that the SEEDS community about to vote on your proposal is well informed. You will find an example of a local food marketplace here. Feel free to add any questions or comments you might have:

Who are you?

We’re a local food marketplace and permaculture consultancy firm. We make it easy, fun and rewarding to grow all things local food.

How are you serving the regenerative movement?

We make it easier and more rewarding to set up local food networks. We operate in over 1000 cities across the world and have sold over 500M seeds to people to set up their first gardens.

What value are you offering the SEEDS community or the regenerative movement?

1. We will implement Seeds as our preferred payment method.
2. We will give a 3% discount for those who buy in Seeds (this is the savings we make for not having to pay payment processing fees). We love that Seeds are better-than-cash!
3. We’re supporting the movement towards local food and empowering people to grow food.

What would you do with this grant and why are you asking for the # of Seeds you’re asking for?

We’ll use this grant to grow the local food movement — empowering our local community with additional tools, seed banks, and features to make it easier and more rewarding to grow, share, eat and make local food. We’re asking for 800,000 Seeds as this was in the band for our active community size and we believe we have a really regenerative impact!
